BACKGROUND

Margaret’s background is in production management in factual TV production. She has worked for companies such as the BBC, MTV and Endemol and has done everything from interviewing rock stars to running the marketing department of National Geographic’s programme distrition arm.

Margaret has always been a keen sportswoman. She has been rowing since she was 12, has represented Barnes Bridge Ladies RC at Henley Women’s Regatta multiple times and has captained a UK womens surf rowing crew.

Margaret is from Hobart, Tasmania. Growing up she spent most of her free weekends in boats or up mountains. When she was 11 Margaret and her family spent 14 months traveling around Australia in a fold down caravan and station wagon. As a teenager she and her friends often disappeared on lengthy expeditions into the Tasmanian wilderness.

Margaret has lived in India, Italy and the UK. In 2012 she will be dividing her time between Australia and Argentina.
